After a month since it was first launched, Xiaomi has now revealed the number of Mi 9 shipments, their newest flagship smartphone. The total is claimed to reach a million units.
The majority of Mi 9 that has been shipped is certainly going to consumers in China. China is still the center of business of Xiaomi, where 60% of its business is operating in the country.
In addition, Xiaomi smartphones are also definitely the first available in their home country. But now Europe is also one of the important areas for Xiaomi, where sales of Xiaomi phones on the Blue Continent soared 415% in 2018.
Mi 9 itself in Europe sells for 449 euros and offers a number of impressive features such as the 6.4 inch AMOLED screen made by Samsung, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and 128GB of storage, and 8GB RAM.
There are three versions of Mi 9 offered by Xiaomi, namely the original Mi 9, Mi 9 SE which is cheaper, and the Mi 9 Explorer Edition which costs more. But the shipment data from Xiaomi did not specify the features between the three versions.
Mi 9 was recently turned into a smartphone with the highest benchmark score in AnTuTu, which was previously held by the Mars Red Nubia who is now in 3rd place. While in 2nd place there is the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT.
