Samsung Galaxy A51 vs Galaxy A50 specs comparison
Samsung officially announced the Galaxy A51 today at a special event in Vietnam. The successor to the Galaxy A50, released in February last year. However, this is not a significant update as it brings only modest design updates and features. However, these improvements make it an attractive package since the Galaxy A50 is already an exciting device.
Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A51 has a slightly larger screen and a new macro camera at the back. It also increases the resolution of primary, ultra-wide, and selfie cameras. The device runs Android 10 with a ready-to-use UI 2.0, making it the first Galaxy device to be released with the latest software. However, the processor and other internal components remain unchanged, and many potential buyers may find disappointment.
In addition to the interiors, the Galaxy A51 has a different design than before, as you can see in the pictures. At the front, the bezels are smaller with a perforated camera, making the A51 a little more modern and premium. There is a large rectangular quad-camera module on the back and a new gradient effect. However, the body of the device is made of glossy plastic, which Samsung calls “3D Glasstic”.
All these changes seem to make the Galaxy A51 a worthy successor to the A50. We hope to answer this question in our review of the device which will be released soon.
