Here are the examples of both options:

In case you wonder about those three ‘lines’ below the screen, they represent the Button order options below the Navigation type. Those lines work the same as the buttons but with gestures.

4. Hiding The Front Camera

Just after Apple introduced its notched display back then, every smartphone manufacturers started to put their front camera on the screen. This makes you lack of the full-screen experience while opening any apps on your device. Thanks to One UI, Galaxy A50 has the Full Screen App feature to help you get rid of that front camera on your display.

However, this feature doesn’t really make that front camera gone (you might not want it to happen though). Here is what this feature looks like:

Yes, it makes the screen put a black bar on the top of your screen. Well, it’s not totally ‘full screen’, but this really helps you to do some tasks.

What you need to do:

Why is this important?

Gamers are having hard times with front camera covering their smartphone’s screen. You also don’t want to get shot from that guy hiding beneath your camera while you are playing PUBG, do you?

5. Multi-Tasking Feature

Two windows on one screen? Yes. While this is not a new feature, this really helps you to do multi-tasking like writing some notes while watching a Youtube video or else. If you are reading this article through your Galaxy A50, then you might want to do these steps immediately.

What you need to do:

  • Open any App. For example, I picked Google Play Store

  • Tap on ‘recent app’, it’s on the left of your Navigation Bar

This is what it will look like:

You can also adjust the window size by dragging the blue line (separator) in the middle of your screen. The adjustment is purposed to choose which one your most important window is.

If you want to close one app, just drag the separator whether to the top or below the screen. For example, if you drag it to the top, then you will close the Setting app and leave Google Play Store app in a single window. This works vice versa.

6. Changing Lock Screen App Shortcuts

You can change what you need the most for your app shortcuts on your lock screen. By default, the two app shortcuts are Phone and Camera. You can change them based on your needs.

What you need to do:
