During the Facebook F8 2019 event, Instagram was planning to put some makeovers for Instagram. If you are an Instagram user, you would realize that the user interface of Instagram Stories doesn’t get much change since it was first launched.

Through the new updates, Instagram is going to add a Donation Sticker for Stories, Create Mode, and the removal of ‘Like’ counts in Feed. Moreover, it will also expand its Checkout feature.

Donation Sticker

The users will be able to use the new stickers to raise money for non-profits. For this feature, you can choose JED, Black Girls Code, GLAAD, Boys and Girls Club of America No Kid Hungry, and many more to support the donation.

Instagram also said that 100% of the money raised via the stickers goes to the non-profits. The Donation Sticker can be accessed via Instagram Stories by tapping the sticker icon and selecting it from the options. However, this feature will only be available in the US for its first launch.

New Interface and Create Mode

Fortunately, this new feature will be available to everyone. The new interface will come with three options – LIVE, CAMERA, and CREATE. Along with its redesigned Instagram Stories, users will have a new Create mode in their Stories. This Create mode will allow you to share image and video-free content with your followers.

You can see that there are some icons on the Create mode to share your content with some Stories formats. We are not sure what they are, but it looks like you will be able to do Type, Ask me a question, or else in this new feature.

No More ‘Like’ Counts

First spotted by Jane Manchun Wong, she revealed that Instagram will get rid that Like counts in your Instagram Feed. This feature is purposed for Instagram users to ‘focus on the photos and videos you share, not how many likes they get’.

Don’t worry, you can still see how many Likes you get in your feed. This feature will only hide the like counter from your followers, so you can still see your stats and the Like option will still be there.
