Xiaomi Super Charge Turbo Makes a 4000 mAh Smartphone Battery Full in 17 Minutes

Vendors around the world are actively investing a lot of their gold to make the device’s battery stronger. Usually, smartphone manufacturers are competing for investment in two things, namely looking for more space on a smartphone or tablet.

Generally, companies try to develop fast charging technology so that regardless of battery capacity, the charging time can be very fast. On the other hand, Xiaomi is ready to introduce the latest charging technology called the Super Charge Turbo.

This technology uses up to 100 watts of power to reduce smartphone charging time. According to the President and Co-founder of Xiaomi, Lin Bin, it only takes 17 minutes to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery. Lin Bin compares Super Charge Turbo with Oppo’s fast charging system – SuperVOOC Flash Charge.

The result, according to the video, Oppo takes 35 minutes to fully charge the 3,700mAh battery. So in 17 minutes, this charger “only” charges as much as 65 percent of the battery while Xiaomi Super Charge Turbo reached 100 percent. Although there is no further information about this technology, it is possible that Xiaomi is using special hardware in this technology.

Some parties estimate that this technology will be introduced in the near future. Based on things seen, Xiaomi is ready to reveal new technology this week. Maybe only high-end devices will get this feature. Of course, the 100-watt charging is supported by a high-speed USB cable.
